Pairing Drill
The 'Pairing Drill' is a great drill that teaches kids how to serve and play as a team.
Start by dividing the kids in pairs and begin with two pairs in the volleyball court - one on one side and other on other side. Now, one of the pairs begin to serve to the other using an underhand serve and the play goes on until one pair or one team loses. As soon as one pair loses it is replaced by another pair. In each round the challenging team i.e. the winning team serves. Then just continue the play bringing in new pair each time a team wins.

Volleyball Greed
The 'Volleyball Greed' teaches kids how to play as a team and motivates them to try their best to win every point.
Start the drill by splitting up the kids into two teams of 6 with each team having 12 balls in total. Now, each team serves two balls at a time whilst alternating sides and then rotating. The team that wins gets to keep the ball. The team with more balls the the other team at the end of the drill wins.

Big Bumps Little Bumps
This drill teaches kids how to control the height of their volleyball bumps.
Start by giving each kid a volleyball. Now, call out "Little Bumps!" when you want the kids to hit low into the air. Similarly, call "Big Bumps!" when you want kids to hit high into the air. Wait until the kids have got steady control over the Bumps. Change between the two bumps quickly as kids get more comfortable.
